The recent 2018.1 update comes with some new content, as I have already written about in these to previous posts:

Today I will take a look at the new systems furniture (i.e. cubical content).
This content is...
truly a "kit of parts". The downloaded content consists of five folders (see image below) with several "parts".
Here is a 3D view of that same file...
I copy/pasted one of the desk configurations into my Law Office mode. Below is a plan view; the zig-zag desks are the new stuff, and two L's on the right are Steelcase families that were already in there.
Here is a 3D view of the same space with some of the ArchVision office clutter added.
The content has various visibility and material options.
With the ability to schedule and add parameters to groups in 2018, this "kit of parts" workflow is a much more valid approach now.

Here is an example of the Work Surfaces folder... notice some Type Catalogs (i.e. the text files).
The "Configurations" project (RVT) file contains several examples of how these parts can be used.
